Food safety is a focus of attention throughout the world since 1995, since then food standards and regulations are becoming very comprehensive and stringent. In Pakistan food business operators are not adequately aware of Food safety/GMPs, Food regulations/laws. Lack of awareness with respect to latest basic hygiene internal codes & regulatory requirements (food laws) is resulting in non-compliance that leads to food contamination, loss of business, fines, legal implications and even closure of food businesses. Training on basic Hygiene, Food safety & food laws is the key for compliance to Food Safety requirements. COTHM is set to expand horizons of knowledge for the youth of Pakistan. In its new initiative, it has set up the School of Health & Food Safety in collaboration with the internationally- acclaimed awarding body of the world, HighfieldUk.By signing off with Highfield COTHM has introduced the most desired internationally – recognized Health & Food Safety Qualifications in Pakistan. These Qualifications deliver specific messages & easy to remember theme directed to the sectors need.Theses Qualifications are most relevant to Hotels, Restaurant, Catering companies, Food Processing industries, Health, Education, Government and various other sectors across the country.
