NextGen Hospitality Challenge 2026 Inaugurated with Vision and Innovation
The NextGen Hospitality Challenge 2026 (PNHC) was inaugurated with great enthusiasm under the theme “Hospitality 360 and the Artificial Intelligence Era.” Organized by the College of Tourism & Hotel Management the event brought together students from campuses across Pakistan at the prestigious Alhamra Arts Council.
From the very beginning, the atmosphere was filled with energy, creativity, and ambition. Students gathered to demonstrate their talent, innovation, and readiness for the evolving hospitality industry.
International Participation Brings Global Perspective
A special team from Cyprus participated in Season 2 of the challenge, adding an international dimension to the event. Their presence not only enhanced cross-cultural collaboration but also encouraged knowledge exchange among participants.
Moreover, this global participation highlights PNHC’s growing recognition as a leading hospitality platform, both regionally and internationally.
A Dynamic Opening Ceremony
The event began with a vibrant balloon-release ceremony, followed by the distribution of competition kits to all participants. Subsequently, students were grouped into their respective categories, ensuring a smooth and organized start.
The ceremony was professionally hosted by Fraaz Kasuri, Vice President of HioReCa+ Academy Pakistan. As a result, the event maintained a high standard of engagement and professionalism.
Leadership Driving Innovation in Hospitality
The official inauguration was led by Ahmad Shafiq, Founder, President & CEO of COTHM International, alongside Zainab Ahmad Shafiq, Founder & CEO of Chocolate Academy Pakistan.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony symbolized a new era of innovation, creativity, and opportunity in Pakistan’s hospitality education sector.
Ahmad Shafiq emphasized the importance of youth development, stating that future leaders must be trained according to global standards. Similarly, Zainab Ahmad Shafiq highlighted the increasing global recognition of Pakistan’s talent and innovation.
