Lahore, July 2025 — The highly anticipated MasterChef Pakistan Season 2 auditions were successfully held at the College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM), Lahore, drawing a huge number of enthusiastic and talented home chefs from across the country. The revival of the iconic cooking show, after more than a decade, kicked off with remarkable energy, flavor, and passion in the culinary heart of Pakistan.
The event was vibrant, with participants showcasing their signature cold dishes, each reflecting their creativity, culture, and culinary dreams. The air was filled with excitement as contestants competed for the coveted MasterChef red apron, marking their entry into the next round of the competition.
The event’s success was made possible by the exceptional support of COTHM, which offered not only a fully professional venue and state-of-the-art kitchen facilities but also a team of trained hospitality students who volunteered to manage coordination, guest facilitation, and logistics throughout the day.

Mr. Ahmad Shafiq, Founder, President, and CEO of COTHM, visited the auditions and expressed deep appreciation for the MasterChef Pakistan team, the volunteers, and the entire organizing unit. He commended the professionalism displayed by the students and emphasized COTHM’s commitment to supporting platforms that empower Pakistan’s culinary talent.
“It’s inspiring to witness such enthusiasm from our youth. Events like this highlight the importance of culinary education and professional hospitality standards,” said Mr. Shafiq.
To celebrate the successful conclusion of the auditions, a cake-cutting ceremony was held, where Mr. Ahmad Shafiq and the MasterChef team came together in a symbolic gesture of success and collaboration.
The event concluded with a memorable group photo of all the volunteers alongside their department heads and faculty supervisors, capturing the spirit of teamwork, dedication, and pride that made the day a true success.
Organized by Pixel Entertainment in collaboration with Banijay Rights, the Lahore auditions set a high standard for the upcoming rounds in Karachi and Islamabad, leading into the production of the new season of MasterChef Pakistan later this year.
