Fabrice Disdier, Coordinator of the Alliance Française Network in Pakistan and Director of Alliance Française Lahore, visited the College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM), where he was warmly received by the Founder, President, and CEO, Ahmad Shafiq.

During the visit, Mr. Disdier was given a comprehensive tour of the campus. Culinary students showcased their international standard skills through a live demonstration, earning appreciation from both dignitaries. Speaking on the occasion, Ahmad Shafiq stated, “These are the future shining stars and the positive face of Pakistan.”

Mr. Disdier also visited the COTHM Library, where he praised its extensive and diverse collection, describing it as an international-level resource center. Later, he toured the Chocolate Academy, where CEO Zainab Ahmad Shafiq briefed him on the successful establishment of seven branches across Pakistan, dedicated to promoting professional chocolate craftsmanship.

Concluding his visit, Mr. Disdier explored FIKA Café, operated under the leadership of Zainab Ahmad Shafiq, and lauded her vision and entrepreneurial spirit at such a young age.

The visit reflected a meaningful exchange of ideas in hospitality education, culinary innovation, and youth empowerment between the French cultural representative and COTHM leadership.

At the conclusion of the visit, both distinguished guest, Fabrice Disdier, was presented with commemorative shields as a token of appreciation for their visit and valuable interaction. The gesture symbolized COTHM’s deep respect and gratitude for their time, encouragement, and support toward promoting excellence in Pakistan’s hospitality, tourism, and culinary education sectors.
