American Hotel & Lodging Education Institute

EIs 2010 audited financial statements and 2009 FORM 990 , “Return of Organization Exempt From Income Tax,” provides details of its operations and financial positions.
Board of Trustees :
AH&LA board consists of 83 members. In addition, the following organizations are non-voting members, but important advisors to the AH&LA board: Hospitality Financial & Technical Professionals (HFTP), Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI), International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC), International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA), and the National Restaurant Association (NRA).

ICM, founded in 1979 having headquarters in UK, is now one of the leading examining and professional body for Business and Management education worldwide. ICM is operating in over 80 countries with it’s over 500 Approved Study centers. ICM offers a wide range of qualifications ranging from Accountancy to Hospitality, Travel & Tourism Management. International Air Transport Association
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is the trade association for the world’s airlines, representing some 280 airlines or 83% of total air traffic. IATA support many areas of aviation activity and help formulate industry policy on critical aviation issues. IATA’s mission is to represent, lead, and serve the airline industry.

The World Association of Chefs Societies, or WACS in short, is a global network of chefs associations first founded in October 1928 at the Sorbonne in Paris. At that first congress there were 65 delegates from 17 countries, representing 36 national and international associations, and the venerable August Escoffier was named the first Honourary President of WACS. Today, this global body has 93 official chefs associations as members that represent over 10 million professional chefs world wide.
World Association of Chefs Societies
The biennel congress is a hallmark tradition of WACS and has been organised in over 20 cities across the world throughout its illustrious 82-year history. WACS is managed by an elected presidential body consisting of the WACS president, vice president, treasurer, secretary general and ambassador honourary president, as well as a board of continenal directors that look after the regions of Asia, Europe, Africa, the Pacific and the Americas. Our programs and different activities are managed by three separate committees, the Culinary Competitions Committee, the Education Committee and the Marketing and Communication committee as well as several sub-committees. “WACS, the global authority on food” Mission Statement: The World Association of Chefs Societies (W.A.C.S.) is a non-political professional organization, dedicated to maintaining and improving the culinary standards of global cuisines. We accomplish these goals through the education, training, and professional development of our international membership. As an authority and opinion leader on food, W.A.C.S represents a global voice on all issues related to the culinary profession.

Specialty Coffee Association of Europe
The Specialty Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE) sits at the very heart of the coffee community, where thousands of coffee professionals and enthusiasts can share their wealth of knowledge and experience with one another. SCAE also offer coffee diplomas for hospitality professionals.
Coffee is a huge industry, offering many and varied career opportunities. The Coffee Diploma System allows people to choose the education path that most suits their needs. Six different modules exist in different disciplines, each with three levels of qualification, Foundation, Intermediate, and Professional (apart from Introduction to Coffee which is just one level). For every module, you can gain points for each level of qualification taken, and when you have achieved 100 points you will be awarded your overall diploma. It’s your choice on the modules you take to get your 100 points. The areas are as follows, Green Coffee, Sensory Skills, Roasting, Brewing & Barista.
International Federation of Pastry Ice Cream and Chocolate
He International Federation of Pastry Ice Cream and Chocolate is an association whose fundamental works are to carry out activities inherent to the development, extension and diffusion of know how, knowledge and experiences typical of confectionary internationally understood as confectionary art.
It also plays a role in the development of the activity of bakers, ice cream makers, chocolatiers, cooks, sculptor/artists on a national and international level with the aim of ensuring the de fense of social and professional values, morals and also to improve the prestige and image of the whole category. The association has as its purpose the professional formation, organization of events and fairs, the promotion and development of the handicraft sector typical of every nation.
Eurhodip
For more than 20 years, Eurhodip has worked for promoting top-quality education and raising the profile of European hospitality and tourism education around the world. Today Eurhodip gathers some 150 schools and universities from 35 countries.
In view of the development and internationalization of the hospitality, tourism, and catering industry, it is crucial to match markets requirements (considering it is a market with a very high demand for skilled staff) with the contents of the training program’s on a European level so that future professionals acquire the skills which are necessary to be able to work everywhere in the world.
ICHRIE
ICHRIE, a nonprofit professional association, provides programs and services to continually improve the quality of global education, research, service, and business operations in the hospitality and tourism industry.

Euhofa International
Euhofa International is a prestigious association of hotel school directors and deans of hospitality colleges and universities who work continuously to ensure the highest quality of education in their institutes. The international hotel school association Euhofa International started in 1955 and has grown since then. Today there are 200 members worldwide.
There are a lot of benefits of a membership within the Euhofa International association: Taking part in the yearly congress with high class academic input as well as visits and insights to member schools, colleges and universities for a member rate is one of them. Networking on an international level, having access to the „member´s only“ section of the website and joining collaborative projects as well as new possibilities for exchanges or special offer of top-up program’s are further options. Our next congress – the 53rd Euhofa International World Congress – will be organized by the team of ROC Mondriaan, The Hague, the Netherlands. Together with the students of ROC Mondriaan Schools for Tourism, Hospitality and Facility Services, and International Hotel Management the congress team will put together a high standard program.
