Ambassador of Canada to the Philippines, David Hartman hosted a dinner in the honor of Worldchefs at the Conrad Hotel Manila. The event was attended by chefs from all over the world, including Worldchefs President Thomas Gugler and Ahmad Shafiq, President of the Chefs Association of Pakistan (CAP).
During the dinner, the ambassador introduced Canadian food businesses to the participants. He also expressed his appreciation for the event and the organizers.
“I am delighted to host this dinner in the honor of Worldchefs,” said the ambassador. “Worldchefs is a global organization that brings together chefs from all over the world. I believe that this event will help to promote Canadian food businesses and to strengthen the ties between Canada and the Philippines.”
Ahmad Shafiq, who was invited from Pakistan to attend the event, said that he was impressed by the level of organization and the quality of the food.
“I am very grateful to the Canadian High Commissioner for inviting me to this event,” said Ahmad Shafiq. “I have learned a lot about Canadian food businesses and I am confident that this will help to promote Pakistani cuisine in Canada.”
The dinner was a great success and it helped to promote Canadian food businesses and to strengthen the ties between Canada and the Philippines.
