A group of 11 students three staff members from the College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM), Pakistan, embarked on an educational exposure tour to Bangkok where they participated in the prestigious One-Day Bangkok Destination Program at Dusit Thani College. The visit was led by Group Head Mian Shahid Mehmood, Team Manager Fraaz Kasuri, and Executive Chef Tipu Imran.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Dusit Thani College team and taken on a guided tour of the academic and practical training facilities. As part of the One-Day Bangkok Destination Program, students were introduced to the institution’s core philosophy, modern hospitality curriculum, and world-class standards through an engaging multimedia presentation.
Following the presentation, John Lohr, Executive Director of External Affairs at Dusit Thani Bangkok, appreciated the COTHM delegation’s initiative to engage in international learning and presented each student with a certificate of participation in the One-Day Bangkok Destination Program, recognizing their involvement in the college’s flagship exposure initiative.


The program aims to provide a snapshot of Thailand’s hospitality industry and Dusit Thani’s academic excellence to international students, inspiring cross-border collaboration and professional growth.
Lohr further hinted at exciting future opportunities for COTHM students, including paid internships, job placements, and a tailor-made 4-month study and internship program that could lead to long-term professional placement in Thailand’s hospitality sector.
The COTHM delegation also visited the adjacent Dusit Thani Princess Hotel to witness luxury hotel operations in real-time, further enhancing the practical insights gained during their tour.
The successful completion of the One-Day Bangkok Destination Program signifies a step forward in COTHM’s ongoing mission to provide its students with global exposure and opportunities in world-class hospitality environments.
