Year 2002
COTHM 1st Campus was Established in the year 2002 at MM Alam Road, Lahore by Mr. Ahmad Shafiq (CEO) after his return from the UK. It was a humble beginning when we started our first batch with only 13 Students. Hospitality Studies were neglected for years in Pakistan and It was our CEO's vision to bring this industry with par level to International Market, it was very difficult to create awareness in the market at First.
Year 2003
COTHM took the Initiative to offer Hospitality management programs in collaboration with the Leading American Awarding body called American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institutes(AH&LEI), USA. COTHM 1st Convocation took place in 2003 to award the Next Generation of Hospitality.
Year 2004
COTHM become a proud partner of American Hotel & Lodging Education Institute (AH & LEI), the USA in 2004. COTHM 2nd Convocation took place in 2004 to award the Next Generation of Hospitality.
Year 2005
COTHM 1st Convocation took place in 2005 to award the Next Generation of Hospitality. We Initiated Culinary Arts programs in 2005, It was the first time any institute in Pakistan started to offer Internationally recognized Culinary Programs. COTHM 3rd Convocation took place in 2005 to award the Next Generation of Hospitality.
Year 2006
Gathered the chefs of Pakistan on one platform and founded the Chefs' Association of Pakistan' (CAP) in Jan 2006, an apolitical and nonprofit organization. COTHM 4th Convocation took place in 2006 to award the Next Generation of Hospitality & Culinary.
Year 2007
COTHM Started a monthly publication called “Hospitality Plus” Magazine' in 2007 to represent the hospitality, travel, and tourism industry of Pakistan, It is the only magazine in Pakistan Representing the Hospitality Industry. It was our hard work and dedication to this industry that led us to acquire a bigger Campus therefore we moved our main campus to Jail Road, Lahore.
Year 2008
COTHM 5th Convocation took place in 2008 to award the Next Generation of Hospitality & Culinary.
Year 2009
COTHM become a proud member of the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) UK in 2009, the only institute in Pakistan to provide Internationally-recognized Culinary Qualifications awarded by ICM, UK. COTHM gradually started acquiring membership of highly acclaimed International organizations and associations in the field of Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, and Airline Management.
One such includes Council on Hotels Restaurants and International Education (CHRIE) the USA in 2009. COTHM 6th Convocation took place in 2009 to award the Next Generation of Hospitality & Culinary.

Year 2010
Affiliation with World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) Paris, France, was another step in the right direction to have chefs of Pakistan recognized at the International forums. It paved way for the professional chefs and culinary students to avail themselves tremendous opportunities of learning, and professional enrichment through participation in the competitions, conferences, and seminars at world-renowned forms.
By becoming a member of the EURODHIP in 2010, COTHM opened up new horizons of learning, exposure, and professional development for the students of hospitality management as well as for the professionals of the hospitality industry. COTHM 7th Convocation took place in 2010 to award the Next Generation of Hospitality & Culinary.

Year 2011
COTHM started expanding its footprint outside Lahore by setting up the 1st Franchised Campus in Multan in the Southern Punjab Region of Pakistan. The moment of pride came for COTHM when it became affiliated with the Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality (CTH), the UK in 2011 to offer level 6 Hospitality Management program leading to a vertical study pathway to level 7 and master's degree. COTHM’s 8th Convocation took place in 2011 to award the Next Generation of Hospitality & Culinary.
Year 2012
It was the time to offer the same International programs in another part of Pakistan and therefore we established our 2nd Franchise Campus in Gulshan-e- Iqbal, Karachi on the 23rd of October. COTHM 3rd Franchise campus was established in Okara city on 1st July, We felt it was the right to help the underprivileged students in the small city to help them achieve their career in Hospitality & Culinary Field. COTHM 9th Convocation took place in 2012 to award the Next Generation of Hospitality & Culinary.
Year 2013
COTHM realized that Travel, Tourism & Airline Industry was booming at a great pace and it was the right time to offer Travel, Tourism & Airline programs, COTHM became the Authorized Training Center (ATC) of IATA Canada. COTHM 4th Franchise Campus was established in the city of Faisalabad.
Government of Sindh recognized our effort for the Hospitality industry and Awarded COTHM the Best Hotel School of Pakistan. COTHM 10th Convocation took place in 2013 to award the Next Generation of Hospitality & Culinary.

Year 2014
COTHM & Mr. Ahmad Shafiq efforts for the Hospitality industry were recognized Internationally by American Hotel & Lodging Education Institute (AH & LEI), the USA in 2014. Mr. Ahmad Shafiq was awarded the LAMP OF KNOWLEDGE AWARD for his outstanding contribution & services to the Hospitality industry as an Educator.
It was the time to make our presence in the capital city and COTHM established its 5th Franchise Campus in the Capital Territory of Islamabad. 6th Franchise Campus was established in Bahawalpur on the 12th of April 2014. COTHM was affiliated with TEVTA and Punjab Board of Technical Education in 2014 to offer 2 years of Qualification in the field of Hospitality, Equivalent to Intermediate.

COTHM always tried to be ahead of the game by introducing world-class programs for Pakistani students, it was the right to offer Food Safety Qualifications in Pakistan and therefore COTHM became a Proud Partner in Excellence with Highfield, UK, and the first institute in Pakistan to provide Food Safety qualification. Due to the high demand for our programs in Lahore, COTHM established their 7th Franchise Campus in Johar Town, Lahore on the 16th of January. 8th Franchise was established in Rahim Yar Khan on 29th of June 2015.
9th Franchise was established in Sahiwal, on the 26th of August. 10th Franchise was established in Gujranwala on the 19th of September. Due to high number of passing out students COTHM 15th & 16th Convocation took place in 2016 to award the Next Generation of Hospitality, Culinary, Travel, Tourism & Airline Management.
Year 2018
COTHM was recognized by Highfield UK as International Training Centre of excellence, The Queen's Award for Enterprise, 2018. Prime Minister's Achievement Award was conferred to COTHM as the Best Hotel School of Pakistan 2018. COTHM was awarded the Best Hotel School of Pakistan by Consumer Choice Award. COTHM 18th Convocation took place in 2018 to award the Next Generation of Hospitality, Culinary, Travel, Tourism & Airline Management.
Year 2019
Established a Campus in Rawalpindi (FIT) Campus on 12th of December. COTHM was awarded the Best Hotel School of Pakistan by Consumer Choice Award. Due to the high number of passing out students COTHM 19th & 20th Convocation took place in 2019 to award the Next Generation of Hospitality, Culinary, Travel, Tourism & Airline Management. Another milestone was achieved in 2019 by arranging 8 student apprenticeship in Germany.

As we believe, we should always move forward, these small steps help us achieve our goal and vision. Although it was a hard year worldwide we took a big step forward by acquiring a large purpose-built campus to offer the best Qualifications in Hospitality, Culinary, Travel, and Tourism & Airline Management.

COTHM Annual convocation was organized in 2021 to award the Next Generation of Hospitality, Culinary, Travel, Tourism, and Airline Management.

We are pleased to announce the latest affiliation of COTHM International with QUALIFI to maintain the satisfactory future of modern Education. It's a UK based awarding body that is giving level 6 and 7 of Hospitability Management programmes leading to Master's degree in order to create a vertical approach of study.
