Of course, education has looked a little different this year but that didn’t stop Chocolate Academy from holding a cookie-making class to celebrate International Cookie Day on 4th December.
Guided by Chef Faiza, Participants on Saturday learned to make a variety of cookies at Chocolate Academy. Designed for people ages 15 and up, the class went through all the basics, from kneading to baking and decoration so that the knowledge gained during the class could be utilized at home.
Children, during the kids’ workshop, developed their creative skills while decorating and baking the cookies. This was followed by a bake sale in which little bakers set their stalls and sold the treats they made. Chocolate Academy is a training center for children and adults with lessons such as cake decoration, bread baking, chocolate, and dessert making. Art and soft skills courses are also held for young participants.
In addition to this, Chocolate Academy offers space and arrangements for events like birthdays, graduation parties, etc. The next class, intended for children ages four to fifteen, will take place on Saturday, December 11 from 2 pm to 6:00 pm.
